Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to assist the body of Christ in discovering, developing and displaying their spiritual destiny

Discovering – Spiritual Gifts and Ministry
Developing – Training/Equipping/Bible College/Internship
Displaying – Functioning in ministry, being “sent out”, using your gift
This is for individuals as well as the church itself.

Our vision is to be changed into His image and likeness.  God will have a people who will be just like Him.  This is our goal and desire.

Team Ministry:

Many leaders in the Church today do not appreciate the truth and importance of team ministry.  Team ministry is a group of men or women of God who are knit together in spirit and love to do God’s will and purpose for the local church.

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are to  serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all are changed into the image and likeness of Christ.

We believe that commitment begins with the Pastors.  We believe that the Pastors have the first responsibility to commit themselves to the local Church.  This commitment includes: feeding, leading, guarding, and discipling the flock for maturity and accounting to God for the flock.                                       Pastors Kay and Richard Butterfield

Leadership Team:

The success in the ministry of this church is due to the comfort, encouragement, and support we receive from the members of the teams that minister alongside of us.  We love and appreciate each one of them.

The Bible tells us what a team is.  They are called:

  • Fellow-Laborers . . . (Philippians 4:3, 1 Thessalonians 3:2)
  • Fellow-Helpers . . . (2 Corinthians 8:23, 3 John 8)
  • Fellow-Servants . . . (Colossians 1:7, 4:7)
  • Fellow-Soldiers . . . (Philippians 2:25)
  • Fellow-Workers . . . (Colossians 4:11)
  • Yoke-Fellows . . . (Philippians 4:3)
